Ombre Hair...

I am officially in love with Ombre hair ^_^
'What is this' i hear you cry?
Is this a style inspired by a number loving chipmunk??? ....no, as that ,my friends, is El Nombre.
Is this hair with a distinctly Mexican feel???...no, because that's just silly.
It;s a trend that's been round for a while, where the roots are kept dark and faded through to a lighter shade at the end. Naturally, hair is slightly lighter towards the end so if you do it very subtly it will just look like the colour is 100% natural.
But I looooove high contrast end of the scale, it's just b.e.a...utiful.
There's a girl on my course (awesome look, very pretty, very jealous me) who had gorgeous dark, thick, long hair last year which made me rather envious and this year has returned with Ombre hair.
Que green eyed monster
She has kept the dark roots but roughly bleached the faded ends and not toned them so they're tinted orange and the effect just makes it look like an old photo left out on a sunny windowsill.
Im going back to my natural Blonde on Monday and I have been inspired by this look to have a bit of an experiment when the colour is how I want it <3
Baby blonde, long wavy hair with a blunt fringe and a faint lilac tint through the last 5" of the extensions
<3
I AM SO EXITED!!!
